Movers Perth to Townsville

It’s a long 4500kms from Perth to Townsville so if you would rather meet your belongings and your car at your new home and take the extra time to explore your new home town, We can help organise car transport to take your car to Townsville for you.

But if you want to drive yourself and take a family holiday along the way you will need to get on the Great Eastern Highway at Rivervale. Once you reach Coolgardie you will need to transfer over to the Coolgardie-Esperance Highway for the journey through to Norseman.

When you reach Norseman you might want to take a break and see the town before getting on the Eyre highway which will take you through Wudinna and Port Augusta. From Port Augusta you will need to follow Port Wakefield road until you reach Gawler, where you will need to get on the Sturt Highway.

Follow the Sturt Highway through to Wagga Wagga which is widely known as The Food Bowl where you can get a great meal from local produce before continue on your journey. Just past Wagga wagga you will need to get onto the Hume Highway, which you will stay on and go through some great towns like Yass and Goulburn before you get to Sydney.

You might like to stay a night or two in Sydney and take in some of the sights before continuing on your journey. When you are ready to leave Sydney get on the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway and stay on this route until you reach the Pacific Highway just outside Hexham.

Once you reach Ballina you will need to continue north through tweed Heads and to the border of the gold Coast before you reach Brisbane. Another great place to take a break and see some amazing sights before you reach your new home.

When you have taken in some of the sights in Brisbane you still have another 1360kms to Townsville, so Head towards the Southern Cross way and the Gateway Motorway and then transfer onto the Bruce Highway. On your way north you will find Rockhampton 700kms from Brisbane which is a nice place to stop for a rest before carrying on through Mackay and then its just 387kms to your new home in Townsville.
