If you’re worried about moving your piano safely to your new
home, then worry no more. We can arrange for a professional
piano removals service to help. They are equipped with
professional equipment to ensure that your fragile piano
arrives at its new home in one piece.
Once all your belongings are on the truck and you have to
decide whether or not you want to make the drive to Darwin
yourself or take advantage of our car transport service.
If you decide to drive yourself then you will need to get on
the Mitchell Freeway and head towards Burns Bay road at
Currumbine where you will need to transfer onto Neaves road
at Banksia Grove and then onto the Great Northern Highway at
Bullsbrook and lastly onto the Brand Highway at Muchea. This
will take you 400km north to Geraldton.
As you leave Geraldton along the North West Coastal Freeway
you might want to spend a night or two in Monkey Mia on the
way north. Monkey Mia is a well-known small coastal town
that offers the chance to see dolphins up close and
personal.
As you continue along the highway you will reach Carnarvon
which located 900km to the north. This is also a great place
to stop and relax. Carnarvon offers opportunities to take a
swim, go fishing or even take a tour of one of the many
banana plantations before enjoying some of the great local
produce.
When you are ready to leave Carnarvon, continue north and
you will pass Minilya, Nanutarra and Fortescue River
Roadhouses and from there the next major town you will come
across is Karratha.
Karratha is another great place to stop and have rest along
the way. There are plenty of sites to see including more
than 10,000 Aboriginal rock art sites to marvel at.
As you continue on your journey, stay on the Great Northern
Highway through to the Roebuck Roadhouse from which it is
another 1836kms to your new home in Darwin. Along the way
you will pass through Fitzroy crossing, Halls Creek and
Kununurra as you cross over to the Northern Territory.
Once you reach Timber Creek you can make a quick stop to
stretch your legs or have a bite to eat before travelling
the last 598km to Darwin.
